摘要
全球变化通过改变生态系统结构和功能,显著影响了全球生态系统服务的提供,严重威胁了人类的生存环境及社会经济的可持续发展。全球变化对生态系统服务影响项目旨在建立全球尺度主要生态系统服务的评估方法;阐明全球变化背景下主要生态系统的变化规律及驱动机制;揭示气候变化对生态系统生产力与碳固持、水源涵养、土壤保持等生态系统调节服务的影响机制和效应;提出适应全球气候变化的生态系统管理对策。项目自2017年启动以来,针对全球变化对生态系统的影响与作用机理,围绕拟解决的3个关键科学问题,取得了系列进展。本文按照生态系统变异及其驱动机制、生态系统调节服务及其影响因素以及全球生态功能区划方法与生态系统管理策略3个方面总结了主要成果和进展。
Global change is significantly affecting the provision of ecosystem services globally by altering ecosystem structure and function,posing a serious threat to human environment and socioeconomic sustainability.The Global Change Impacts on Ecosystem Services project aims to establish methods for assessing major ecosystem services at the global scale;elucidate the patterns and driving mechanisms of changes in major ecosystems in the context of global change;reveal the mechanisms and effects of climate change on ecosystem productivity and regulation services such as carbon sequestration,water retention and soil conservation;and propose ecosystem management strategies for adapting to global climate change.Since the start of the project in 2017,a series of progress has been made on the impacts and mechanisms of global change on ecosystems,focusing on the three key scientific questions to be addressed.This paper summarizes the main results and progress according to three aspects:Ecosystem variation and its driving mechanisms,ecosystem regulation services and their influencing factors,and global ecological function zoning approaches and ecosystem management strategies.
