Status and direction of shale gas exploration and development in China

摘要 中国已成为世界上第3个掌握页岩气勘探开发技术的国家.为了总结页岩气地质理论研究成果、勘探开发经验及教训,基于我国页岩气勘探开发实践和理论研究进展,在解剖商业开发页岩气田和典型页岩气钻井特征基础上,系统分析了富有机质页岩发育、储层类型和特征、页岩含气能力和含气量等基础地质理论的研究现状和关键科学问题,并对页岩气富集主控因素进行了分析.建议加强富有机质页岩发育、页岩成岩作用、有机-无机相互作用及优质储层形成机制、含气量的控制因素和定量评价、不同类型页岩气藏富集主控因素和分布规律等研究;提出了战略展开、战略突破和战略准备3个层次的勘探优选方向.战略展开区主要是四川盆地五峰组—龙马溪组深层页岩气和常压页岩气;战略突破区主要指四川盆地海相寒武系、海陆过渡相二叠系和陆相侏罗系;战略准备区主要包括四川盆地三叠系、鄂尔多斯盆地三叠系以及东部陆相盆地白垩系、古近系、新近系等.四川盆地五峰组—龙马溪组深层页岩气和常压页岩气面积和资源量较大,其中深层页岩气埋深大于3500 m的面积为12.8×10~4 km^2,钻井也取得良好效果,建议优先开展四川盆地五峰组—龙马溪组深层页岩气和常压页岩气开发技术攻关. China has become the third country in the world to master shale gas exploration and development technology.In order to summarize the research achievements of shale gas geological theory together with the experience and lessons of its exploration and development,the recent progress and key scientific issues of basic geological theories are analyzed such as organic-rich shale development,reservoir types and characteristics,the gas-bearing capacity and gas content,as well as the main controlling factors of the shale gas enrichment based on scrutinizing the characteristics of commercially developed gas fields and typical shale gas wells.It is proposed that research on the development of the following aspects should be strengthened:organic-rich shale,shale diagenesis,organic-inorganic interaction,the formation mechanism of high-quality reservoir,controlling factors and quantitative evaluation of gas content,the main controlling factors and distribution law of different types of shale gas enrichment.Three levels of exploration direction including the strategic development,strategic breakthrough and strategic preparation are clarified.Specifically,the strategic development areas are the deep shale gas and normal pressure shale gas of the Wufeng formation-Longmaxi formation,Sichuan Basin;the strategic breakthrough areas are mainly referred to the marine facies Cambrian,transitional facies Permian and continental facies Jurassic in the Sichuan Basin;and the strategic preparation areas mainly include the Triassic in the Sichuan Basin,the Triassic in the Ordos Basin,and the Cretaceous,Paleogene,and Neogene in the eastern continental basin.The area and resources of deep shale gas and normal pressure shale gas of Wufeng formation-Longmaxi formation in the Sichuan Basin are relatively large.The area of deep shale gas buried deeper than 3500 m is 12.8×10~4 km^2,with several typical gas wells displaying great potential.Thus,it is suggested that the priority should be given to the development of deep shale gas and normal pressure shale gas of Wufeng formation-Longmaxi formation in the Sichuan Basin.
