摘要
近来,互联网上的个体叙事因其社会影响而引发了广泛的关注,学术界也对此进行了一系列的讨论。其中,尤其值得关注的是个体行动与社会结构如何在这类叙事中交会的问题,以及外在的社会秩序、集体认同与个体的内在思想和信念如何互动的过程。为此,美国宾夕法尼亚大学安纳伯格传播学院杨国斌教授和南京大学新闻传播学院周海燕教授,就上述问题进行了深入讨论。
Individual narrative on the Internet has recently attracted widespread attention and given rise to a series of discussions through academics because of the notable social impact.Thereinto,how individual actions meet with social structures in such narratives is worth to focus on,as well as the interactive process that the external social order and collective identity interact with the internal thoughts and beliefs of individuals.Therefore,we interviewed Guobin Yang,professor of the Annenberg School of Communications at the University of Pennsylvania to discuss about aforesaid issues.

杨国斌,美国宾夕法尼亚大学Grace Lee Boggs传播学与社会学讲席教授,数字与社会研究中心主任。1993年获北京外国语大学英美文学专业(文学翻译)博士学位,2000年获纽约大学社会学博士学位;国际传播学学会(ICA)会士。主要研究议题为数字媒介与社会理论、全球传播、文化社会学、翻译与跨文化传播、中国的媒介与政治、互联网历史等。主要著作包括Dragon-Carving and the Literary Mind(《文心雕龙》)(大中华文库,2003)、《连线力:中国网民在行动》(广西师范大学出版社,2013)、The Power of the Internet in China(哥伦比亚大学出版社,2009)、The Red Guard Generation and Political Activism in China(哥伦比亚大学出版社,2016)等。曾编著China’s Contested Internet(2015)等多部英文论文集。担任《传播学季刊》(Journal of Communi-周海燕教授cation)、《国际传播杂志》(International Journal of Communication)、《社会学论坛》(Sociological Forum)、《情感与社会》(Emotions and Society)、《中国信息》(China Information)等十多种传播学、社会学及中国研究刊物编委;周海燕,南京大学新闻传播学院教授,哈佛燕京访问学者(2013—2014)。1990年起就读于南京大学中文系新闻专业,先后获得新闻学学士、新闻学硕士学位及社会学博士学位。曾任新华日报集团记者、编辑。主要研究方向为集体记忆、文化社会学、中国的媒介与政治等。
